Veterans Care
Hear for Life Audiology is a community provider within the Veterans’ Community Care Program. Though this program, which is paid for by the Department of Veterans Affairs, veterans can receive care from our practice if:
- The VA cannot see them in a timely manner (30 days+).
- The nearest VA medical facility is outside their service area (40+ miles).
- They have difficulty driving or otherwise don’t have access to transportation which poses a hardship to travel to a VA center.
To use the Community Care Program, veterans must receive prior authorization from the VA. Once authorized, Hear for Life Audiology provides the veteran with a comprehensive hearing evaluation, hearing device selection/programming, hearing aid repairs, troubleshooting and other services as needed such as earwax removal.
